RISE is a free learning platform designed for impact-driven founders who want the best of both worlds — online courses for flexibility and in-person workshops for hands-on learning.

Powered by Impact Hub Berlin and funded as part of the Nachhaltig Wirken programme by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus), RISE helps you build and scale your work with a climate action focus.

Learn from expert coaches at your own pace online, then take your skills further with interactive workshops in Berlin or online, where you’ll connect with the very experts who designed the courses, alongside like-minded changemakers.

RISE is designed for all existing and aspiring climate action changemakers.

Note that RISE is not an incubation or acceleration programme. RISE Academy’s courses and workshops serve as a plug-and-play learning for the various components of building a business. It can help enhance your knowledge and bridge the gaps to real world application of business concepts.

RISE Workshops

We have a track record of 10 years in building startup support programmes. What sets us apart? Keeping the people in the center of our programme design. We care about diversity in the learning groups and strive to create safe(r) spaces for every participant. We hold space not only for questions but also insecurities, genuine connections, and keeping the funk alive. Just because we do serious things, doesn’t mean we have to do them too seriously!
