A bridge between Italy’s innovation and Germany’s market

The Global Start Up Program Berlin 2025 is a four-week launch pad that supports Italian founders on their journey into the German market. Based on a dedicated program format conceived and developed by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), and implemented by Impact Hub Berlin and Feedel Ventures, the program combines expert-led masterclasses, individual coaching, corporate visits, and community networking.

It connects startups with mentors, investors, and partners, helping them adapt their business model, validate their product, and build sustainable partnerships in Germany’s thriving innovation ecosystem.

Thanks to Feedel Ventures’ experience as an Italian startup studio with a dual presence in Italy and Berlin, they bring deep insight into the Italian startup ecosystem, the key differences between the Italian and German markets and the common challenges Italian startups face when entering Germany.

The Italian Trade Agency – ITA is the Governmental Agency which supports the business development of Italian companies abroad and promotes the attraction of foreign investment in Italy. 

With a motivated and modern organisation and a widespread network of 87 Offices in 74 foreign countries, ITA provides information, assistance, consulting, promotion and training to Italian small and medium-sized enterprises. Using the most modern multi-channel promotion and communication tools, it acts to assert the excellence of Made in Italy in the world. 

Under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the Italian Trade Agency works together with business organizations and other public and private entities.

To support Italian innovation and startups, the Italian Trade Agency organizes a wide range of initiatives worldwide, such as participation in leading tech and startup fairs, bilateral workshops, and missions of founders, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders to the main innovation events in Italy.

Within this framework, ITA also runs its flagship Global Start Up Program (GSUP): The Global Start Up Program (GSUP) is ITA’s international acceleration initiative for innovative Italian startups. Over an intensive four-week track in leading global hubs, selected founders work with top accelerators, receiving mentoring, market access, and curated matchmaking with investors and corporates—culminating in dedicated pitch and visibility opportunities. The program helps startups validate their solutions, scale internationally, and build strategic partnerships and capital access.
