Our sustainable space at the CRCLR House

Welcome to Impact Hub Berlin’s new home. Located in Berlin’s vibrant Neukölln neighbourhood, our 3.500m2 space is a showcase for sustainability and inclusive design, from its accessible layout, to its energy use and sustainable gastronomy outlet.

Walking the talk

Opened in February of 2022 on the site of the old Kindl Brewery, our new workspace at the CRCLR House is constructed according to circular economy principles - a fitting home for the new generation of entrepreneurs who will change the way our economy functions.

All building materials are either reused or reusable (unless legal regulations prohibit this). Similarly, interior fittings can be largely dismantled and reassembled in the event of a change of use.

Facility management is focused on waste minimisation and efficient energy use. And to combat the millions of tons of office furniture per year that go to landfill, Impact Hub Berlin uses rental and reused furniture wherever possible.

The design process was fully collaborative, including consultations with users, neighbours and experts.

Due to the high interest in our circular space and how we work, we now offer group tours to showcase our sustainability principles, fun facts about where our construction materials come from, and how we shape our four ecosystems to scale impact: Circular Economy, Diversity & Inclusion, Green Tech, and Sustainable Food.
