We are excited to announce our latest report all about Food Sustainability trends! Food plays a central and critical role in shaping a sustainable, circular and regenerative impact economy. In our latest report we delve into how we can create new realities around how we make and consume food, and explore the current trends in the sustainable food industry, including:

• How the agri-food systems in the DACH region are changing
• The various trends affecting agri-food systems in the DACH region
• A look at the many innovative start-ups making real change
• Ways to strengthen local food ecosystems and cultures

The innovative field of circular construction in Berlin is populated by a variety of different actors. They pioneer projects, business models and practices that contribute to resource conservation and climate protection along the life cycle of building projects. The methodologies range from building designs in modular timber, to the conversion and re-use of existing buildings and the reuse of used components, to the high-quality recycling of building materials for other purposes.

Impact Hub Berlin was happy to be a co-author of this report in ‚Wissen. Wandel. Berlin.‘ as part of the Circular City Berlin project.

Recognizing entrepreneurship as a key lever to sustainable economic growth and employment creation, the Government of India launched several initiatives to support female entrepreneurship. As a result, Deutsche Gesellschaft fürInternationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, on behalf of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development
(BMZ), has been implementing the project “Economic Empowerment of Women Entrepreneurs and Start-ups by Women” (Project Her&Now).

In order to provide further growth avenues for a selected number of programme participants of the Her&Now Programme, GIZ partnered with Impact Hub Berlin (IHB) to develop the Market
Access Programme, which prepares 10 women entrepreneurs for market entry to Germany. After a successful first round in 2021, the Market Access Programme 2022 (MAP’22) equipped the
second cohort with relevant knowledge and networks to expand their businesses to the German market.

IHB was responsible for the overall operational execution of the programme including the concept development, the selection of participants, speakers and experts as well as general project
management throughout the programme. To make the programme more impactful, IHB also helped in drawing up a customized action plan (roadmap) for each participating entrepreneur to help them be better equipped for their journey to access German markets.

💪 Durchführung von mehr als 15 Programmen und Projekten für Partner wie GIZ, Britische Botschaft, Fraunhofer Institut, Bethmann Bank und den Berliner Senat

💪 1000+ Stunden Unterstützung innerhalb unserer Programme angeboten

💪 156 Teams und Unternehmen auf ihrem unternehmerischen Weg unterstützt
