Responsibilities
As our Events Coordinator, you will join our diverse team to grow our event client base and create the best possible event experience for our community members and partner organizations. Your core responsibilities include:
Event Coordination
  • Manage a pipeline of incoming event requests;
  • Optimize the event booking process, from inquiry to invoice;
  • Ensure that events are well planned, organized and run smoothly from start to end;
  • Design and execute new event formats focusing on social innovation
Event Operations
  • Manage event budgets and ensure communication of costs and revenue.
  • Maintain and upgrade event facilities including space cleanliness, technology, event supplies and equipment;
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as caterers, tech suppliers, cleaners and other event related third parties;
Event Sales & Marketing
  • Increase number of venue bookings, and achieve growth targets set
  • Work in close collaboration with our Communications team to market event spaces
  • Proactively reach out and build partnerships with potential clients, especially within the local social innovation ecosystem
  • Maintain and grow our online presence on event and venue platforms.
